Hi there, I’m Michael.
I’ve been working in the industry for over 15 years, from dot-com startups to in-house groups to battleship-sized agencies. I started out as “The Digital Guy”, working in interaction/web design and designing, architecting and illustrating casual games for Orbitz. For the last 16 years I’ve worked on global brands like McDonalds, Walgreens and Tyson, had a 5-year creative partnership with The City of Chicago, and more recently led Ecolab, Avion and Del Maguey to their initial brand launches. In the interim I’ve touched everything from tech to insurance to hot dogs. I’ve trapped Charles Barkley in the internet, helped Russell Wilson win a Super Bowl, and created the first 11-hour commercial. I’m also a huge film buff, decent illustrator, music podcaster, and pasta dad.
My work has been recognised by Cannes, LIA, The One Show, D&AD, the Effies, Communication Arts, The New York Times, The Clios, Creativity, The FWA, The Webbys, HOW, Print, and more.
